What We Built

This post has a lot to do with my girlfriend. First of all, she's at a Bane show right now while I have to sit at home, so I have the time to get some things done here. Second, she's the one who really turned me on to Count Me Out. I'd known the band for years but never really gave it much more than the occasional listen, which in hindsight turns out as a big mistake.
This one right here comes on translucent orange vinyl and is out of 100. I might have to pick up a copy with the Godfather sleeve at some point in the future. Too good a motive not to have. And while I'm at it, the Turning Point rip-off is quite nice to look at, too. Oh well...

Free To Think, Free To Be

I'm aware of the fact that this may not be the most spectacular record to start this blog with. But another look at the name of my blog will tell you that I apparently like this band called Bane. One could actually say that I'm a huge fan, so why not kick off this thing with a Bane 7"? Said 7" is Bane's 2nd release on vinyl and brings you one of the biggest crowd pleasers at every Bane show, Superhero. So if you want to get in on that pile on at the next Bane show, you'd better buy this record and learn the lyrics so you can scream along. I really rate the other two songs, At Best and Scared, too. Bedard's lyrics are always outstanding.
I'd been after this 1st press copy on black vinyl for a couple of years but somehow this record had always slipped through my fingers. Got one on eBay for a fair price in the end. This was the last version that I was still missing of this particular Bane release. Well, technically there's the Buffalo Press, but I've never even seen one of those anywhere. Any help will be appreciated. Still plenty of Bane records to go though.
